As the System Integration Lead you will be responsible for the end-to-end understanding of and solution for the system integration within onshore Energy Clusters as well as the optimisation of operational assets. You will work across our organisation to identify how the different solutions impact the project economy, which opportunities lies within the symbiosis and how to increase profitable share of wallet. You will be collaborating with external stakeholders and partners and join relevant forums for knowledge sharing. Bringing your expertise to the future development of our projects and optimisation of already spinning asset is key. You will be reporting to the Director of Business Development and Strategy and work closely with the Development- Operation and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring best fit technology choices and solutions to system integration within the value chain of suppliers and partners in the energy space.
  • Obtain insights and hypotheses to compare techno-economic competitiveness impact (e.g., LCOE, NPV, IRR) within the value chain.
  • Work closely with the highly skilled internal project developers to identify and assess technology and commercial areas of interest and to collect, validate and produce key solutions.
  • Develop technology intelligence sharing platforms and tools, and present key technology intelligence opportunities to management.
  • Provide insights on new and innovative technologies that have potential to impact the markets and segments in which Wind Estate operates.
  • Participate in strategic projects with deep-dive insights and analysis into specific technologies or capabilities.
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Development and Strategy on targeted analyses impacting Wind Estate’s long-term technology and business development choices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience within the wind/renewables industry with a developer, consultancy, operator, asset manager, OEM or component supplier
  • Minimum B.Sc. in a relevant field (engineering, technical, business, economics)

Competencies

  • Experience in technical and economic evaluation of products and projects within the renewable sector.
  • Ability to define problem statements, structure analysis processes and define targeted information needs.
  • Comfortable in working with an “output” first and hypothesis-based mindset when shaping conclusions.
  • Communicate to the point in an understandable way using e.g. Power-bi and other visual tools.
  • Self-motivated, self-planned independent – while excelling in collaboration across internal disciplines using business understanding and simplicity in communication to create relevant conclusions and buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Your personal main competencies are: Passionate and dedicated to the green agenda, inclusive, openminded, like to knowledge share and thrive in a dynamic and changing environment
