Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national and international laws, regulations, and industry standards, including but not limited to: Anti-corruption and bribery laws

- Labor and human rights laws
Ethical Business Practices
Suppliers and contractors must conduct business ethically and with integrity by:
- Prohibiting bribery, corruption, and fraud in any form
- Avoiding conflicts of interest with Wind Estate’s projects and stakeholders such as regulators and other business partners
- Ensuring transparency in business dealings and supply chains
- Respecting intellectual property rights
Labor and Human Rights
Suppliers and contractors must respect internationally recognized human rights and labor rights, including:
- Prohibiting child labor, forced labor, human trafficking and modern slavery
- Ensuring fair wages, reasonable working hours, and safe working conditions
- Providing equal opportunities and prohibiting discrimination
- Respecting workers’ rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
Suppliers and contractors must ensure a safe and healthy workplace and minimize environmental impact in accordance with Wind Estate’s HSE policy by:
- Complying with H&S regulations
- Implementing risk prevention measures for workers
- Seeking to avoid and reduce waste, emissions, and pollution
- Promoting energy efficiency and sustainable resource use
- Seeking to consider, select and use more sustainable options where appropriate
Data Protection and Confidentiality
Suppliers and contractors must protect sensitive and confidential information by:
- Complying with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR)
- Preventing unauthorized access or disclosure of confidential information
- Handling customer and business data responsibly
Responsibility Throughout the Supply Chain
Suppliers and contractors are responsible for ensuring that their own suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners comply with the principles outlined in this Code. This includes:
- Communicating this Code to relevant parties in their supply chain
- Implementing processes to monitor compliance
- Taking corrective action where non-compliances are identified
Documentation and Audit Rights
To ensure compliance, suppliers and contractors must maintain records that demonstrate adherence to this Code. Wind Estate reserves the right to:
- Request documentation that proves compliance with labor laws, environmental standards, and ethical business practices.
- Conduct audits (on-site or remote) or request self-assessments to verify adherence to this Code.
- Take corrective action in cases of non-compliance, which may include requiring improvement plans or, in severe cases, termination of business relationships
Reporting Violations and Concerns
Suppliers and contractors must, according to applicable law, provide a mechanism for employees and stakeholders to report violations, concerns, or unethical behavior without fear of retaliation.
Suspected violations of this Code, including any breach of its principles or unethical conduct, should be reported to Wind Estate via email at compliance@windestate.com. Reports will be treated confidentially, and Wind Estate will ensure that no one faces retaliation for raising a concern in good faith.
All reported violations will be reviewed and investigated appropriately. Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences may include a formal warning, required corrective actions, or in serious cases, termination of the business relationship.
Suppliers and contractors are contractually obligated to comply with this Code of Conduct, and failure to do so may be considered a breach of contract.
Commitment to Continuous Improvement
We encourage suppliers and contractors to continuously improve their ethical, environmental, and social practices.
By engaging in business with Wind Estate, suppliers and contractors acknowledge and commit to adhering to this Code of Conduct.
