Privacy Policy for Wind Estate Candidates

The protection of applicants’ privacy is a top priority at Wind Estate. Therefore, personal data is handled with the utmost care in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the legal requirements of the country where you have applied. This privacy policy informs you about how Wind Estate handles your personal data and how you can exercise your rights regarding your personal data.

When applying for a position at Wind Estate, we collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • Application, CV, and other documents you choose to submit
  • Portrait photo (if provided)

  • Criminal records (only if relevant to the position)

If you are invited to an interview, you may be asked to complete personality and/or cognitive tests, submit a portfolio, and provide work-related references if relevant to the specific job position. Please refrain from attaching or uploading documents containing your social security number, health information, or other similar sensitive personal information irrelevant to the recruitment process.

What We Do With Your Information

All information you provide during the process will be used solely to facilitate your application or comply with legal requirements or regulatory demands, if necessary. We do not share any information provided during the recruitment process with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not store your information outside the European Economic Area. Your information, in both electronic and physical formats, is securely stored by us and/or our data processors. Automatic profiling is not conducted.

We use the contact information you provide to update you on the progress of your application. Other information you provide is used to assess your suitability for the applied position (processing data for the conclusion of an employment contract in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR).

Information We Request and Why

When you apply to Wind Estate, we ask you to submit your application to recruitments@windestate.com. Please send all relevant application information to us via this email. We only collect and use information necessary for our stated purposes and retain it for the necessary minimum period. The information we request is used to assess your suitability for employment.

The information you provide in your application will be reviewed by our HR/recruitment team. We collect personal information, including name and contact information, work experience, education, and references. During the application process, we may ask relevant questions related to the applied position. Our HR/recruitment team has access to all this information.

If you provide information not relevant to the suitability of the position but cannot be separated from your application (e.g., photos or gender), we will not use it in the application process and will only keep it as long as we retain your application. Equal opportunity reports are generated only after data anonymization.

Interviews, Tests, and Assessments

You may be asked to participate in assessments, take tests, or provide questionnaires on professional personality and/or participate in interviews, either individually or in combination. The information is generated both by you and us or our assessment providers. For example, you may take a written test, or we may take interview notes. This information is only retained by Wind Estate for as long as necessary (processing data based on a legitimate interest in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the GDPR).

Use of Data Processors

Data processors are third parties that provide components for our recruitment service. We have data protection agreements with our providers, ensuring that they may not use your information for any purpose other than the recruitment process. They securely store and retain only your information for the legally required period.

How Long Information is Retained

If you are hired, the information you provide during the application process will be retained by us as part of your personnel file during your employment plus 2.5 years after your employment is terminated. If a dispute arises within this period, your information will be retained until the dispute is resolved, including your criminal record statement, workability information, security check information, and references.

If you do not succeed at any stage of the process, the information you have provided up to that point will be retained for six months unless otherwise notified. If a dispute arises within this period, your information will be retained until the dispute is resolved.
